What I'm Reading Now -- The Bookshop

I picked up The Bookshop on a pre-Christmas browsing trip through the mall with L.  We were waiting for S and Z to have their annual Santa picture taken and just killing time, before the now-annual post-picture dinner.  We popped into the bookstore (of course).  I found this and L found a book about knitting sweaters for small dogs -- catnip for both of us, so to speak.  I didn't know anything about Penelope Fitzgerald but have come to realize she was quite an accomplished author, at least in Britain.  Her works seem to be less popular in the US, but I'm giving her a try.
