I really didn't know what to expect when I started this book, since I randomly picked it up at the library. But I really liked it!It's amusing and quirky and makes me want to buy some chickens! Her storytelling is easy and conversational, and the whole thing was well balanced - comical stories of attempts gone wrong and the gravity of nose-to-tail, birth-to-death animal rearing.
All in all, quite enjoyable.
