I'm going to say basically the same thing I did for the first movie in this trilogy: the book is better. The movie is still entertaining, but leaves out lots of detail and misses much of the suspense of the prose version of the story.Noomi Rapace is back as the mysterious Lisbeth Salander, and it's a role that works for her. Her undefined relationship with Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nyqvist) continues through this film, and it's delightfully satisfying, and at the same time unsatisfying, about that. But, like I said, the movie's telling of the story leaves something to be desired.
Bottom line: if you have the time, read the book instead.
