L and I met up at Pat's on Friday night to have a beer and exchange gifts. Pat's is just a little neighborhood place that's been around since...forever. Actually 1942. It's not big, and we were lucky enough to get one of the booths so we could chat with some level of privacy. But it's a great place to stop in for a drink if you need one!
Are you sure you're not recycling photos now? This looks very much like another one I've seen of the two of you.
ReplyDeleteDoes it look like the one from Felix's last March? That's probably because I'm wearing the same sweater. Thanks for noticing.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think L was wearing the same thing in both pictures too, but she probably wears that outfit a lot. :)
ReplyDeleteShe does indeed. That is her doctor outfit. Think how easy that would make it to get dressed for work in the morning: "Hmm, what should I wear today? I know! scrubs!"
ReplyDeleteBut then there's a downside also: "I just wore something similar yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that. I hope my coworkers don't think I never do laundry."
I imagine all of her coworkers have the same experience. So, either, they don't think twice about it. Or, when Dr. Mats was cutting into my leg, he was worried about whether people were wondering if he does his laundry or not rather than ensuring that he attached my hamstring to the correct part of my knee. I would like to go with option #1 for my own sanity, otherwise, I will live my life with the fear that I might have two PCLs and no ACL.
ReplyDeleteAnd heaven forbid you experience any fear for your health or well-being :-)
ReplyDeleteYou mean anyMORE fear, right?
